Our Volunteers
We could not have completed this project without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers. The programme is rooted in the Milton Keynes community and a core part of the project provided free training for local people, who gained new skills in documentary film making, editing, audio recording and interview techniques. They produced more than fifty short documentary films, which together create a vibrant portrait of Milton Keynes, a place of diverse experiences and people.
What our Volunteers said...
‘I have enjoyed working as part of a multi-talented team each of whom brought different skill sets to the project.’
David Harris |
‘I’ve learnt an incredible amount about Milton Keynes, a ‘city’ that was built on my doorstep. It’s a very interesting concept, and I now understand the motivations of its pioneers.’
Victoria Holton |
'Charlotte (film maker facilitator) is quite an expert and hands-on person, she has explained all of the different aspects of the video production.’
