The People's Stories

For this part of our project we interviewed over 50 people who have made Milton Keynes their home. They were invited to share their memories and experiences of living in the city, spanning the past fifty years. These interviews have been edited into a series of short digital stories which you can view by clicking on the photos. The films show a vibrant portrait of a place made up of diverse experiences and cultures. The full interviews have been transcribed and added to our archive so future generations can look back at our history.
 
And this is just the start!
