Dave shares memories of his life lived entirely in the Milton Keynes area.

He talks about the wonder he felt as a young boy visiting exhibitions presenting a future vision for Milton Keynes, showcasing maps and drawings of leisure centres, swimming pools and boating lakes. However, he shares the frustration he felt as a young person, that the expectation that was set in the very early days was not delivered.

It wasn't until his own children grew up that all the things that he wanted as a ten-year-old were realised: The Point, cinemas, roller-skating, ice skating and bowling.
